Making The Most of Snow Days

There is nothing like the thrill of a snow day for a child, but as a parent how do you keep them entertained and away from the humdrum of the television?

Some fun ideas to make those snow days more creative for the entire family are:

• Create Snow Mazes—a fun way to have kids help you shovel the driveway

• Go Sledding!!!

• Make foot tracks in the snow or explore your backyard for animal tracks

• Paint the snow and make your yard a work of art

When heading out, make sure everyone is dressed properly to keep them warm and it never hurts to have some hot coco ready for when the kids are done with their outside adventure.
