School might be back in, but that doesn't mean you and the family can’t get out for some fun and quality time. There are so many exciting things going on in Salt Lake City this autumn, here are a few interactive museums to check out. Discovery Gateway is a super place to bring the kids for a day of interactive, hands on fun of discovery and where they can engage in workshops, programs, and exhibits which are sure to intrigue the whole family. Right now at the Discovery Gateway, the Traveling Museum featuring Bob the Builder is going on now until September 7, 2014! For more information, rates and hours, see the link below. Are your kids music lovers? The Imagination Place brings music and movement together for the whole family. There are so many various events and classes for all ages, you are bound to find something for everyone. While you are in the Salt Lake area, be sure to visit the Tracy Aviary where kids can explore the birds from all around the world and understand their migration patterns, plus so much more. Some fun events happening in September are the: International Vulture Awareness Day (IVAD) going on Saturday, September 6; Sing with the Birds (September 14); Funky Feather Run (September 27 -- sign up TODAY!)
